We are currently hiring for the a OB/GYN-Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to work at the Naval Health Center in Oak Harbor, Washington. Relocation or Travel Allowance may be provided.

Responsibilities:
In this position, the Nurse Practitioner will focus on Women's Health care. Conduct well-woman exams and provide preventive health education.Order and interpret blood and imaging tests. Provide prenatal care management to include confirming/dating pregnancy, providing education on pregnancy health, and providing education/counseling on unexpected pregnancies. Perform ultrasounds and monitor fetal activity. Prescribe medication. Manage contraception to include education on available contraception, prescribing, and inserting long acting reversible contraception such as intrauterine devices and implanted devices. Provide sexually transmitted disease diagnosis, treatment, and education. Address infertility concerns. Monitor fetal activity. Provide menopause education and counseling.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:Masters Degree of Science Degree in NursingPossess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.Have successfully completed an accredited graduate nurse practitioner program (MS/MSN or DNP)Possess and maintain current certification by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric and Gynecologic Specialties (WHNP), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women's Health.Must possess a BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
