Maternal-Child Staff Nurse (Float)

A New York City hospital is currently seeking an experienced licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a promising Float Staff position with their Maternal-Child team.

Responsibilities:

The Maternal-Child Staff Nurse (Float) will: Maintain standards of the practice for nursing
Actualize the vision, mission, values, balanced scorecard performance measures
Participate in performance improvement/research activities
Maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification
Infection Control training
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Patient oriented
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Certification in specialty
