Sign on Bonus eligible!$10,000 w/ 2 year work commitment to OSF POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the manager/director and according to departmental policies and nursing care standards, assist in overseeing and directing work of nursing personnel engaging in providing patient/nursing care services to patients on assigned shifts. Demonstrates accountability for ensuring safe high quality patient care, enhance the patient /family experience, and provide effective leadership contributing to the delivery of the organization's objectives. Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, and serves as a resource person for unit personnel resolving operational and patient care problems.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 3 years of date of hire into role.Experience:3 years of caring for patientsCare management experience taking care of adult and/or pediatric specializing in chronic, complex illnesses.Broad knowledge of medical and community resources.Positive, empathetic approach and ability to communicate effectively to patients/ families with a variety of health issues, age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds.License/Certifications:Current state RN license or license eligible at time of hireCare Management Certification within 3 years of hireCPR certification by the American Heart Association within 90 days of employmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor's Degree in NursingExperience:3 years of nursing experience EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/DisabledJob seekers will be afforded equal opportunity regardless of their race, ethnicity, veteran status or disability status.
