      • Call is 1-2 nights per month and 1-1.5 days per month
        The role you will play
        • The Nurse Practitioner will work as part of the clinical team that includes 20 Advance Practice Clinicians, 6 Neonatal Fellows 13 Neonatal Attendings, rotating Pediatric Residents, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Social Workers and other healthcare providers.
        • Only level 4 NICU in central Pennsylvania and serves a diverse population that includes extremely premature infants, as well as those with general and specialized surgical disorders, multiple anomalies including genetic disorders, complex congenital heart disease, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy requiring therapeutic hypothermia, and conditions requiring ECMO.
        • A wide degree of patient care autonomy/latitude is expected. .

            Background Profile
            • Either Master's Degree in a Critical Care or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program with a minimum of one (1) year CRNP experience (which could include clinical rotations or relevant clinical experience in applicable specialty) required and three (3) years critical care experience as a staff nurse required; or Master's Degree in a General Nurse Practitioner Program with a minimum of one (1) year CRNP experience (which could include clinical rotations or relevant clinical experience in applicable specialty) and five (5) years critical care experience as a staff nurse required.
            • National certification as an advanced practice nurse required.
            • Neonatology Nurse Practitioner certification focus is preferred.
