Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse KC to join our growing Perinatal Center team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Part Time, 0.5 FTE, Day Shift, Mon-Fri, No weekends, no holidays

Minimum Qualifications:
* Graduation from an accredited nursing program
* Current WA State RN Licensure
* Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
Preferred Qualifications:
* Recent nursing experience
* Telephone triage experience
* Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Under the general direction of the Practice Manager/Administrator and/or the Provider, perform a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a clinical setting and perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This position may require floating to other clinics.
* Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct
* Understands, embraces, and instills the Kadlec Clinic Guiding Principles
* Provides telephone triage for patients calling in with questions and/or concerns
* Conducts nurse visits for patients needing vaccinations, blood pressure checks, etc.
* Demonstrates ability to recognize and assess emergency needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergent procedures as needed
* Evaluates patient and family understanding of treatment plan and/or instructions, completion of all necessary forms and orders and discuss any concerns or questions with the Provider
* Maintains appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and administration of medications
* Documents all patient interactions in patient record accurately and legibly
* Consults and coordinates with health care Providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
* Prepares exam rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained
* Performs a variety of routine clerical functions as necessary
* Performs within limitations or scope of WA State RN Licensure.
* Provides training and oversight to students as applicable
