RN Labor & Delivery

WorkSquare is currently looking to hire Registered Nurses Labor & Delivery for a great opportunity in a large, Level II Trauma hospital located in Tallahassee, FL, 32308 .

Position Summary:

• The Labor and Delivery unit cares for high and low-risk patients
• Fundamental in achieving recognized world-class health care
• Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patients care environment
• Primary responsibility is providing care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process
• Provides leadership, mentoring, and role modeling for other members of the health care team
• Coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure, and clean environment
• Care provided displays respect for the patient s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality, and expressed needs
• Adaptable, using evidence-based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain, and alleviating anxiety

Location: *Tallahassee, FL, 32308 * (Must live outside of Tallahassee to qualify for this position)

13 to 26-week contract assignment with possible extension

36 hours per week available

Work Schedule: 12HR Days and 12HR Day/Night Rotating Shifts Available

Pay Rate: $42.08 - $48.09 per hour depending on experience

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a large hospital setting
• Must have High-risk experience
• Associates degree in Nursing
• Must have a valid RN license
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) AWHONN, BLS, & ACLS certifications required
• Cerner Newborn care experience is a plus
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check, drug screening and submit immunization/vaccine records after interviewing with the facility
