JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and providing care to women requiring annual exams, contraception and obstetric care. Collaborate with all other members of the healthcare team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Nursing required.
Nurse Midwife Certification (CNM) required.
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Ability to perform routine screening and higher level obstetrical and gynecological care, as well as, conducting and overseeing labor and delivery, with ability to seek consultation in outpatient and inpatient setting required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year of experience preferred.
Experience in providing full scope midwifery care preferred.
