We are looking for experienced Labor & Delivery RN's for our Nampa Maternity Center. These are full-time positions and we have both night and day shift available!

As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.

About this Position: Located at our Medical Center off I-84 and Garrity Blvd, our RNs work in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care, depending on patient census. We are a fast-paced department that thrives on teamwork and passion to provide excellent care. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated team player who loves to learn and truly enjoys their calling in OB nursing. RNs working this unit will be expected to take shifts in both the Boise and Nampa Family Maternity Units as needed.

General Requirements:

Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills

*
Intermediate computer skills including medical record keeping

*
Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse conditions

*
At least one year of RN L&D experience required

Education:

*
Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)

License/Certification:

*
RN license in the state of Idaho required prior to start. RN license in the state of Oregon required within six months of start date.

*
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification

*
ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date

*
PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year of hire date
