This Labor and Delivery unit has a total # of 15 beds on the unit and assist in 330 births per month. Patient population is labor & delivery moms. On this LD unit also High risk patients are seen. Antepartum Pregnant post surgical requiring fetal monitoring. Certifications/skills required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring. Perfer someone who can scrub and circulate. Special Medications: Mag drips, insulin, pitocin. Patient Ratio 1-3. Floating required to FCC when necessary. Special procedures: C/sections, tubal deliveries. Spontaneous abortion.
