Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. On-call required; When on-call must arrive to the Hospital within 30 minutes.

Minimum Education:

BSN preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills:

Minimum of one (1) year recent experience within the last three (3) years of Full -Time high risk Labor & Delivery experience;

OB triage and Circulating vaginal & C-section deliveries;

(will train to scrub C-sections and train to postpartum/well baby if no experience).

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:

Current California RN license

Current BLS certification (AHA certified)

Current NRP certification

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is a requirement within 1 year of hire, unless documentation of completion is provided prior to hire

AWHONN progressive Fetal Monitoring classes are recommended every 2 years
