A highly respected health organization in the beautiful Anchorage, AK area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU for a full-time, permanent position. Join a NICU recently rated as one the top 10 of all NICU's in the nation that also provides top area base compensation, long-tenured & collaborative staff, and plentiful cultural amenities all close to the last great American frontier.
Job Synopsis:
* The ideal Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU holds previous experience in a NICU environment and provides exemplary patient-centered care to each individual patient.
* Provide fast, accurate, and compassionate care for premature and/or critically ill newborns while working as part of team.
* Ability to work in an emotionally-charge environment while communicating with staff, patient's family, etc.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) degree or higher. Registered Nurse (RN) without BSN must within 3 years of hire.
* RN's with 20 years of RN experience exempt from BSN requirement.
* Registered Nurse (RN) AK License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
* 12 + months of acute care experience.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
* STABLE certification (must have within 90 days of hire).
