Clinical Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Put your nursing expertise to work at a Magnet-designated, university-affiliated hospital located just six blocks from Baltimore's Inner Harbor by joining the team on Mercy Medical Center's Labor & Delivery (L) Unit. Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in L independently perform clinical care to patients. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care in triage, ante-and immediate post-partum of the obstetrical patient and serves as a resource for other team members. Our Labor and Delivery Unit, part of the Family Childbirth and Children's Center at Mercy performs between 250-300 births per month. Qualifications:
Qualifications:A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing boardOne - two years of clinical nursing experience is strongly preferred; new graduates with focused practicum or technician experience in L will be considered.Healthcare Provider-Level CPR certification
