Description/Qualifications:
Eligible for excellent hiring incentives, including a Start Bonus and Relocation Assistance (for hires relocating from greater than 100 miles). To qualify for the bonus candidates must not have been employed by Salem Health in the last 6 months. Bonuses are available to external applicants only and are subject to all applicable tax withholding. Your Role with Us:You will become an integral part of a dynamic team in a high-risk tertiary care center which provides a family-centered maternity experience where each patient's choices are respected and valued.Core Functions: Care for the patient as a part of the holistic care of your patientAbility to work across multiple teams who are working to offer solutions to care plan gaps, continuity of care, medication managementYou will observe and record patient behaviorPerform physical exams and diagnostic testsCollect patient health historiesCounsel and educate treatment plans to patients and their families Background/Expertise:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree or non-nursing Bachelor's Degree with MSN for Salem Health applicants.Current and unrestricted Oregon license. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse required. BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
