We are currently seeking a full-time 0.9FTE Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to join our team of professionals. This position will work 36 hours a week, 12 hour shifts, 7pm-7am, and 2 of 6 weekends. The Neonatal Intensive Care RN specializes in quality and safe care to newborns that require special care.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR RN CANDIDATES?

* Registered Nurse must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
* Current Indiana RN license.
* Maintain BLS, ACLS and NRP certification.
* One-two years nursing experience is required.
* The RN will adhere to the American Nurses Association Bill of Rights by establishing and maintaining expectations and environments which support sound professional nursing practice.

WHAT ARE THE REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES?
The Registered Nurse will provide family centered care in a neonatal baby friendly environment that is provided to support the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the family.

* Providing care for infants diagnosed with prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal sepsis, neonatal seizures, hypoglycemia or birth anomalies.
* Provide direct patient care in the NICU.
* Demonstrates the knowledge, critical thinking and judgment of and integrates the use of evidence-based outcomes for nursing practice.
* Supervise care delivered.
* Coordinates plan of care.
* Provide education for patients, families and staff.
* Collaborate with other disciplines.
