Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The Registered Nurse is a professional who provides, plans, and directs care to individuals and families based on thenursing process in collaboration with the health care team. The RN does so while assuring a safe, quality andconfidential care environment. Essential Functions: Assessment, teaching, planning and coordinating care includingdischarge needs, performance of RN-specific tasks, and providing team leadership to assure that care is accomplishedeffectively and efficiently. Care Team members focus primarily on their Essential Functions, but all members of theteam perform other duties as their scope of practice allows in order to meet patient needs efficiently and effectively andin support of cohesive team functioning.#RN@DH

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications for Labor & Delivery Trainee Position:Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience OR 1 year of critical care RN experienceCurrent CA RN licensure Current AHA BLS certificationMeets Expectations or above on most recent annual performance evaluationPreference given to home facility RNsOther program details:Interview and final selection by 6/10/22Transfer into Labor & Delivery Transition in Practice program on Sunday, 07/10/2022Attend classes at the Dignity Health Collaborative Learning Center combined with shifts on the unit with assigned preceptorTrain for 18 weeks on Day shiftTransfer into L unit pay period start 11/13/22 be assigned to Full Time RN position on Night shift, and begin typical unit orientationExpected to commit to remaining a Dignity Health employee for at least one (1) year following the completion of the training program
