Work Schedule:
90% FTE, Day/Evening with majority of shifts scheduled for 12 hours. Every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
Join a team of remarkable nurses who have a broad range of medical and surgical knowledge, skills and leadership.
28-bed unit with nurse-driven collaboration where you will have the opportunity to care for a diverse surgical patient population.
This unit provides excellent experience with airway management, including new tracheostomies, for RNs who may want to work in the critical care setting in the future.
Be part of a team of nurses who are prime support and educators to patients receiving highly specialized care for a variety of complex surgical procedures including Cystectomy or Bladder Removal with Urinary Diversion, Gender Confirmation Surgery, Mastectomy with flap reconstruction, head and neck surgeries and other related surgical oncology procedures.
Education:
Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Six (6) months of relevant inpatient adult acute care surgical experience within the last five (5) years.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification.
Preferred - Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification.
