The Licensed Practical Nurse
is a critical part of the health care team and contributes to the nursing process through data collection, focused nursing assessment, communication in patient record, and implementing RN developed teaching plans under the direction of an RN. The LPN assists the RN NC and the clinician in the plan of care for the patients and administers medication or treatment as prescribed by an authorized provider. The LPN may serve as a group leader and help with team assignments to assure patient and clinician needs are met. The LPN may delegate certain tasks to medical assistants.HOURS/SCHEDULE:
Mon-Wed. and Fri.: 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
Thurs.: 10:00am-7:00pmRequirementsRequired Education:
Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or compact state as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- CPR Certified

- Two or more years clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory care setting.
