Overview:
Float Pool Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2.5 years of current RN experience in the area of concentration. Position requires floating to multiple hospitals and work a minimum of 48 hours per month. ESP employees can work up to 40/hrs per week. All shifts are 12/hr shifts. Flexible hours and scheduling. Enterprise Staffing Pool (ESP) is Emory Healthcare's internal agency/float pool covering 11 hospitals and over 300 clinic locations. Hospital locations are Emory Campus, Emory Midtown, Emory Saint Joseph's, Emory Johns Creek, Emory Ortho & Spine Hospital, Emory Decatur, Emory Hillandale, Emory LTAC Hospital, Emory Wesley Woods Hospital, Emory Smyrna and Emory Rehab Hospital. JOB DESCRIPTION: Capable clinician who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients, and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population. Routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations. Is able to apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice, and use this knowledge to personalize care for each patient/family. Serves as a resource to colleagues and strong advocate for patients/families. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 30 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years. AHA BLS, PALS, TELE certified. NICU RNs required to have NRP. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
