A beautiful, river city in Georgia that is distanced an hour and a half from the Gulf of Mexico, is seeking a Nurse NICU Educator. This person would function as a leader in the unit and be responsible for the orientation of new employees as well as developing and consulting on educational programs. Very significant sign-on bonus and relocation assistance provided! Job Summary for the NICU EducatorFunctions as a member of the management and nursing team. Serves as a leader and role model. Responsible for unit based orientation for new employees. Provides educational programs and in-services to the employees, as well as consults, develops, plans, implements, and evaluates programs provided. Schedules hours divided between clinical and educational duties. Job Responsibilities for the NICU Educator

• Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization.
• Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
• Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.Minimum Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree.Experience Requirements
