We would love to talk to you about this fantastic opportunity.The Neonatal ICU RN Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the NICU in meeting the mission of Medical City Las Colinas This role is pivotal is accountable and responsible for the operation of the unit. We are looking for solid Women's Services professional ready to take on high level supervisory functions at our facility. If you have been a charge nurse for at least (2) years or have previous supervisor experience with a GN or Emergency Medicine background, you are the perfect candidate for this upwardly mobile role at Medical City Las Colinas.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports an environment of care to meet that mission and comply with all regulatory requirements. Serves as the central communications contact for departmental charge nurses, staff members, Central Scheduling, Anesthesia, and Administrative Supervisors. Oversees the implementation of quality improvement projects related to Surgical Services with the goal of improving processes. Coordinates unit staffing including daily schedules, attendance, payroll, requested time off, staff development/retention, and orientation in accordance with Human Resource policies and procedures. Actively supports professional development of staff members. Ensures staff accountability for attendance, behavior, and actions according to Human Resources policies. Provides input into departmental operating and capital budgets. Demonstrate effective leadership behaviors, professionalism, accountability, and the pursuit of personal growth and development. Represent department and takes part in administrative activities and other duties as assigned by Director.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
  • 2 year/Associate Degree, required
  • 4 year/Bachelors Degree BSN, preferred
  • RN Texas License/Certification
  • Knowledge of state, federal, JCAHO regulations
  • 2 years charge/supervisory experience in the Neonatal ICUAbout Us :
