Centra Medical Group is currently seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to work at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital in beautiful Lynchburg, VA.
We will consider both Full-time and Part-time candidates for our 24-hour shifts.
Position duties include rounding, writing orders, progress notes, attending deliveries, performing procedures, to name a few.
Neonatal NP experience highly desired with board certification.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital, a Level 3 NICU, provides care for ill and premature infants 24 hours a day. Neonatologists oversee plans of care for the infants and neonatal nurse practitioners and an experienced team of nurses provide around-the-clock medical services and care.
The neonatal nursery cares for 500 babies a year. A Baby Friendly® hospital, Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital promotes breastfeeding, skin-to-skin bonding with infants and in some cases, rooming-in prior to infant discharge in the neonatal nursery.
Lynchburg, with a population of 85,000, is a great safe place to raise a family. Tons of outdoor activities to enjoy that include hiking, biking, mountain bike trails, camping, boating, fishing & canoeing. Hike the beautiful Sharp Top Mountain or Appalachian Trail or Bike on the Blackwater Creek Trail or Percival's Island in the heart of the city. The Lynchburg Academy Center of the Arts offers some of America's finest performing artists. Enjoy an evening minor league baseball game with our Lynchburg Hillcats. Children will enjoy outdoor summer movies at the park, county fairs, apple orchards, pumpkin patches and picking blueberries & strawberries. They will love Amazement Square, an inactive hands-on children's museum in downtown Lynchburg. Beautiful Smith Mountain Lake is also nearby.
