The NICU RNCC is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state. BLS required. NRP required within 90 days.
STABLE required within 120 days ( 6 months or before).
Experience & Knowledge: Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development necessary for assessment, range of treatment and care of neonates raging from premature through full term.
