We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated RN Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable registered nurse to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. You will ensure equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and/or accreditation standards. You will participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team. You will reflect core values when interacting with co-workers, patients, family members, and others in the community to foster an environment where employees are engaged and where patient care is unparalleled. You will lead in a way that inspires commitment to the vision/mission/values of the organization. You will provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively superior organization. You will assist with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines. You will represent the organization positively within the community; participates in company-supported community/patient events and in-services.

Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
  • A current AHA or American Red Cross Life Support ACLS Health Care Provider is required at hire or received within 6 months
    Doctors Hospital of Augusta is a 350 plus bed HCA Healthcare facility located near the Georgia-South Carolina state border. Doctors Hospital is well known for its Joseph M. Still Burn Center, the largest burn center in the country, which sees more than 3,000 patients annually. In addition, the burn center was granted a special burn designation as part of the Georgia Trauma Care Network. This designation included a rigorous review program administered by the American Burn Association (ABA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACA). Patients are cared for in two dedicated trauma bays in our Emergency Department.
