Job DescriptionSCOPE OF POSITION
Responsible for the clinical staff and clinical issues under the supervision of the Office Manager and/or Practice Manager. Coordinates schedules/time off; purchases clinical supplies and medications; acts as a back up for Medical Assistants and LPN's when needed; schedules equipment for maintenance; troubleshoots equipment and maintains equipment records; Must be able to recognize and resolve problems and prioritize and reorganize workload in response to STAT requests, following clinical protocols
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
See Table of Organization.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited LPN program and a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical setting.
Licensed as an LPN in the appropriate state.
CPR is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.
