Mercy San Juans Family Birth Center was recently certified for baby friendly and is the 2nd hospital in the nation and first on the west coast to have the joint commission perinatal certification. Our FBC consists of a 12 bed labor unit, 2 ORs and a 14 bed private postpartum unit. We average 160-180 deliveries a month, and have a full team of experienced leaders with a focus on perinatal and neonatal safety.The incumbent is a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge.
