Labor and Delivery RN Travel Contract

Core Staffing LLC, a 100% Nurse Owned and Operated Medical Staffing Firm, is looking for a Labor and Delivery- RN for a 13-Week contract in La Jolla, California..

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

RN Duties/Responsibilities:

· Coaching women, assisting with any complications, and administering medications during birth.
· Performing tests on newborns after birth.
· Providing guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and infant
· Meeting with expectant mothers for prenatal visits and providing care for normal and problematic pregnancies.
· Teaching childbirth preparation classes.
· Providing information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women.
Requirements:

2 years of experience
NRP
ACLS
AWHONN​
Shift:

1900-0700/48 Hours Per Week
Compensation:

$2,838.00 Weekly Pay Package
