Wilson Medical Center, in Wilson, NC has an opening for a RN in our nursery. The Nursery at Wilson Medical Center is comprised of a well baby nursery as well as a 2-bed level II nursery serving newborns greater than 32 weeks gestation. The nursery provides care to more than 800 newborns annually.

The RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a highly confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

Job Requirements:

Required Education:

• Graduation from a Nursing Education program

Required license/certification:

• current NC or multistate RN licensure
• BLS
• NRP required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire.
