Bakersfield Memorial Hospital includes 385 general acute beds, 48 licensed critical care beds, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a full-service Emergency Department with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center. Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible in supporting the Nurse Director and Department Manager of the Maternal Child Health Module to manage and coordinate clinical operations to provide patient care to the pediatric, adult and geriatric population.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of documentation, care planning and patient care delivery meet regulatory requirements.
Responsible for fostering and facilitating a positive interactive team and optimal environment for all activities ensuring orientation, competency and quality patient care.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
CA Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) New grads must have NRP within 1 year of hire.
Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
Ability to work with all levels of infant gestations, parents and medical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of acute NICU experience preferred.
Previous NICU experience preferred.
