Charge Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Deliver (L&D) FT nights-experience required - BRADENTON, Florid

Responsibilities
At least 1 year of acute care L&D RN experience required, prefer experience as a Charge Nurse.

The private labor, delivery and recovery suites at Manatee Memorial Hospital are fully equipped with advanced technology and are comfortably arranged to provide a pleasant environment.

Childbirth services include:

• Labor and delivery
• Natural childbirth
• Cesarean birth
• Labor pain management options, including epidural
• High-risk births

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.ÿ Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Other duties as assigned.ÿÿ

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or approved RN program. BSN preferred.
• Non-BSN candidate- required to procure a BSN degree within 5 years of hire to maintain the charge nurse position
• Current state nursing license.
• Three or more years' experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse.
• One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
• ACLS, STABLE, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
