Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
We are seeking a OB Tech who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions assists the Registered Nurse by functioning as an on-shift team member by providing delegated aspects of care within specified timelines and completing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks as designed.

We are seeking a OB Tech who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions assists the Registered Nurse by functioning as an on-shift team member by providing delegated aspects of care within specified timelines and completing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks as designed.
- Provides delegated aspects of nursing care within the time lines specified
- Collects routine vital signs at times scheduled or as delegated
- Assists in the admission of patient to the unit/room by orienting the patient and family or significant others to the room and the use of safety features, by assisting them to find other locations in the hospital, by unpacking and arranging personal items for the convenience and safety of the patient, and attaching the patient to the external fetal heart monitor
- Provides care of each patient consistent with the mutual goals for care as designated by the RN.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/equivalent
- One year as Certified Nursing Assistant.
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
