The Perinatal Transport Staff Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care to the high risk or critically ill patient during transport. Acts as a team leader on maternal fetal transports and supports a teamwork philosophy.At Childrens Mercy, we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcomed within our walls. Provides direct patient care through assessment, intervention and stabilization for the critically ill transport patient that promotes safety and optimal patient outcomes.Promotes a positive relationship with referring/accepting healthcare providers; serves as a clinical resource for the education and consultation needs of the healthcare team.Promotes safe, efficient, family-centered care to transport patients.Promotes continuity of patient care through the documentation process.Participates in performance improvement and professional development activities.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $30.75, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home:
This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
