Job Summary:
  • As the Clinical Coordinator must be able to direct and supervises the daily operations of the department to facilitate access to mental health services to persons inquiring and professionals and agencies referring persons utilizing the hospital and community-based continuum of care.
  • You will present in a professional, caring and understanding manner to persons inquiring of assistance and committed to help the individual (s) connect to resources needed via hospital programs or other resources in the community.
  • You will also direct and supervise the admissions of any individual into any of the hospital treatment programs and/or to other services in the community.
  • You will directs and redirects team assignments as needed throughout shift
  • You will assist new employees, assigned employees, and cross training employees toward their orientation goals
  • You will serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
  • You will assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing resources to meet patient care requirements and other professional responsibilities.
  • You will act as a resource in identifying and/or solving administrative/operational problems.
  • You will anticipate actual/potential problems that may occur on their shift and sets shift priorities accordingly.

The 128-bed Parkridge East Hospital in East Ridge provides a full range of medical and surgical services, such as orthopedics and robotic surgery. Our 24/7 Emergency Department is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The Birth Place at Parkridge East offers a comfortable, private setting in which families welcome new additions. Our 22-bassinet level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offers comprehensive care for babies born at less than 28 weeks gestation or with critical illnesses.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing.
  • Licensed by the state of Tennessee as an RN.
  • Experience in behavioral health strongly preferred.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • CPI required within 30 days of employment.
  • BLS required within 90 days of employment.
