Job Responsibilities

As an Registered Nurse, you will perform both independent nursing and delegated medical functions which may include assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for Labor & Devliery patients. You will assist the provider with procedures and independently complete a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: administering injections, conducting phone triage, preparing education materials and educating patients, checking patients' vitals, performing chart documentation, and monitoring standards of care.

Shift: Overnight (7pm - 7am)

Pay: $45-70/hr (based on experience)

Requirements

As an RN Registered Nurse, you must have excellent critical thinking, interpersonal relationship building, and technical skills. You must be a problem solver who is able to make safe judgments in a variety of situations. You must be courteous, professional, and have strong conflict resolution skills. You must demonstrate the psychomotor and manual dexterity needed to perform selected DON and unit techniques.

Other requirements of the RN role include:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Department setting
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Training on all critical care competencies for specialty
• Ability to embrace change and engage in ongoing process improvement
• Ability to multi-task on an ongoing basis
• Ability to work as an effective team member to provide exceptional care

- 2+ years experience as a Registered Nurse • BLS/ACLS Certified • Current RN license in NJ • Labor & Delivery experience preferred
