Team Leader (RN) - NICU

Memorial Medical Center

Team Leader, under the direction of assigned Department Director, supervises the operations of the department nursing area, it's patient population and assigned team members during a designated period of time. Assumes responsibility and accountability for organizing, controlling, and implementing department activities and coordinating the activities with other department activities within the hospital.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education: Must be a graduate of a School of Nursing program.

Minimum Experience: Experience in an acute care facility preferred.

Certification/Licensure: Current New Mexico or compact RN license required. Current CPR required.

NRP certification required within six months of employment.

For New Hires: Required certification must be obtained with in (1) year of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification.

ACLS: is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed.

Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
