Top rated specialty medical group in La Jolla, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced RN position is working in an Post Partum Group.

Summary:

· Position: Registered Nurse

· Facility: Post Partum Group

· Location: La Jolla, CA

· Hours: 7: 00AM to 7: 00PM

· Days: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

· Monitoring the vital signs of mother and baby following a birth

· Cleaning, weighing and dressing the newborns

· Administering vaccinations and performing routine tests on the newborns

· Constantly checking the mother and baby for signs of common postpartum complications

· Educating new parents on how to care for their newborn when they go home

· Helping the mother to establish functional breastfeeding schedules and methods

· Encouraging and supporting new mothers emotionally and relaying their preferences to the doctors

Qualifications:

· Bachelors of Nursing degree or Equivalent

· Must be organized, detailed, and professional

· Verbal and written communication skills
