Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale has been a respected leader in healthcare since its founding in 1938. As Broward Health's flagship hospital, Broward Health Medical Center offers 716 beds and is home to virtually every medical specialty, including cardiac care, maternity, neonatology, pediatrics and comprehensive stroke care. Additional services include cancer care, kidney and lung transplant, orthopaedics, palliative care, robotics, sickle cell, surgical weight loss, a Level I trauma center and an on-site fitness center.
Pool Time Varied hours per pay period. 8:00am-04:30pm. Every other weekend. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. IBCLC certified require. NRP preferred. Experience in Hospital Acute Care setting within the past three years strongly preferred. Mother/baby experience preferred. The professional registered nurse is accountable to plan, coordinate, provide, intervene and evaluate the care of assigned patients based upon the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act and individual patient needs. Each professional registered nurse participates with the inter-disciplinary team to establish an individualized plan of care for each patient
