We are currently seeking qualified RN to staff a full time contract in Obstetrics Level II LDRP. This contract lasts 10 weeks with a 12 hour day shift available, may be on call, and holiday requirments that fall on the scheduled pattern days. Must have 2 years of recent/related RN experience, ACLS, Fetal Monitoring, NRP, ability to circulate or be the baby nurse during C/S, and ability to be a labor nurse and postpartum nurse. Current pay rates are $82 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Registerd Nurse - RN

Discuss normal fetal development, stages of labor, and physiologic changes at birth

Understand the importance of movement in labor and the different labor positions and assistive devices

Operate basic equipment on unit

Administer Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drip

Requirments of the Registered Nurse - RN

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with in the state of Indiana

1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility

Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team

Must be able to remain calm under pressure

Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly

Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
