Coordinates nursing care for patients of all ages, coordinates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel focusing on outcomes in patient care and in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
The RN is responsible for the coordination of interdisciplinary functions and manages resources for quality patient care.
