Obstetrics Registered Nurse, RN

We are currently seeking qualified RN to staff a full time contract in Obstetrics Level II LDRP. This contract lasts 10 weeks with a 12 hour day shift available, may be on call, and holiday requirments that fall on the scheduled pattern days. Must have 2 years of recent/related RN experience, ACLS, Fetal Monitoring, NRP, ability to circulate or be the baby nurse during C/S, and ability to be a labor nurse and postpartum nurse. Current pay rates are $82 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Registerd Nurse - RN

• Discuss normal fetal development, stages of labor, and physiologic changes at birth
• Understand the importance of movement in labor and the different labor positions and assistive devices
• Operate basic equipment on unit
• Administer Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drip

Requirments of the Registered Nurse - RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with in the state of Indiana
• 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
