Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for supervision and operational direction of unit operations. Responsible for the supervision of the clinical care and non-clinical services delivered to patients with twenty-four hour accountability for patient care and operations. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor performs duties in accordance with applicable state, federal and JCAHO regulations. Assumes responsibility to achieve performance improvement objectives, financial outcomes, and clinical outcomes to assure OSF meets the needs and expectations of its patients, families and referral sources. Assures collaboration across the continuum of One OSF and is a service excellence champion to ensure the agencies are constantly striving to be the provider of choice.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in nursing 1 year of progressively more responsible work experience or 1 year of supervisor experience in healthcare Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment. Licensure/Certifications Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current drivers license and auto insurance, provides own transportation Other skills/knowledge Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
