Lakewood Health System is seeking a Full-time Clinic Specialist LPN/CMA to join our Women's Health nursing team.
The Clinic Specialist LPN/CMA assists the Women's Health Team with the implementation and coordination of patient care. The primary duty of the Clinic Specialist LPN/CMA is to support Lakewood Health System Women's Health Providers.
Tasks assigned will include: room preparation, completing the rooming process with the patient, assisting the provider with patient care, completing documentation within EPIC system, inbasket and phone support to the Women's Health Specialty Care Team with the flexibility of floating when needed within the Care Team to provide coverage/support.
In this role you will assist with immunizations and medication administration, order supplies, medications, check out dates, clean and stock work areas as needed, and assist other members of the Women's Health Team on a routine basis. This position will primarily be working with the Lakewood Health System Women's Health Providers and Nurse Teams but will be crossed trained to provide care in our Primary Care Clinic when needed as well.
This is a Full-time position working 64-80 hours every two weeks, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
1. Current MN LPN Licensure or Medical Assistant Certification
2. Current BLS certification
3. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
3. Excellent communication and typing skills
4. Previous Clinical and EPIC EHR experience preferred
