Unit: Postpartum Manager Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certificate. Shift Notes: Days, 5x8s Unit Notes January 6th, 2025 start & 28 Weeks! **Cerner Required** *No first time travelers* -Management experience required- # of Postpartum beds 30 # of births per day, per year 275-300 deliveries/month, >3000/year Ratios 1:4 couplet care, 1:5 if not babies Required Certifications BLS, ACLS, NRP Common diagnoses/Types of patients Post-partum, mother and baby couplets, Gyn Experience or 'Must have' skills knowledge of Mother Baby care, Postpartum experience or Labor and Delivery experience Shifts & Scheduling 8 Hr shifts: 8am-5pm 1 Hr break Weekend Requirement take calls from staff when needed Holiday Requirement NO Is there a call or standby requirement? Managers do take occasional calls from staff on weekends Floating Requirements No floating outside post-partum Scrub Color/Dress code Navy blue Unit/Department specific orientation 5 shifts CG.
