Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Med/Surg Gynecology unit, assessing and managing patient needs.
- Advocacy: Advocate for patients' autonomy, dignity, and values in care planning.
- Education: Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote learning and improved care.
- Safety & Quality: Prioritize patient safety and quality care through evidence-based practices.
- Professional Growth: Engage in continuous learning and contribute to research and evidence-based initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg GYN nursing experience (clinical rotation in school and residency programs do not count).
