Currently recruiting a full-time nights Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery to work in Dallas, Texas in an 876-bed tertiary care center. Since 1974 the facility has won numerous awards and distinctions and they have over 100 specialties providing outstanding care now. About the unit/hospital:
24 modern L rooms.4 C-section operating rooms.84 Level IV NICU rooms.A large PICU and a high-risk maternity suite. The only facility in the area with neonatologists and peds anesthesiologists onsite 24/7.
Job Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery RN:

Be responsible for planning and providing individual nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family, and community. Possess knowledge of the principles of growth and development, plus the skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the population of the unit. Is accountable for their practice and care coordination. Expected to practice autonomously utilizing evidence-based practices. Your work will support the mission, values and vision of the hospital and the philosophy of the nursing department.
Job Qualifications of the Labor & Delivery RN:

BSN required. One year of L experienced required. Current Texas RN license or compact license, if compact license then a Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire. BLS required; and ACLS/NRP are required within three months of hire.AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required.
Compensation and Benefits of the Labor & Delivery:

Salary: $28.64-$41.25, depending on years of experience. Night shift diff of $8 an hr. Sign on bonus and relo available, up to $10k for a 2-year commitment; and $3k for relo, depends on experience. Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.Tuition reimbursement of up to $5, 250 per year. Low-cost medical, dental, life, and vision options.
