Job Title: Immediate Opportunities for Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Rochester, NY 14617

Pay Rate: $53/hr

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: 12hr Nights

Guarantee Hours: 36

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Rochester. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the childbirth process.

Description / Comment :

• Experience Labor and Post Partum RN
• Combination Nights 8's and 12's, Every other weekend.
• Shifts can be either 8 (11pm-7am) or 12 hours (7pm-7am) to meet required hours and department needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, responding to changes quickly and efficiently.
• Assist in labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
• Support patients and families with education on newborn care and postpartum health.
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff to ensure smooth, coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in New York
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and fetal monitoring
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patient care skills
