A health network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Evening shift as an Assistant Nurse Manager. In this role, the Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Labor & Delivery team.
About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Evenings
• Hours: 9pm to 7:30am
• Setting: Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) will:

• Direct and coordinate patient and unit activities
• Ensure the continual delivery of quality patient care in compliance with policies and standards
• Assist the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of the select group of patients
• Participate in educational activities related to Labor & Delivery
• Participate in clinical research studies
• Participate in direct patient care, as required
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with a Labor & Delivery
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and/or a related field
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Computer savvy
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• Master's Degree in Nursing and/or a related field
• American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification in Specialty area
