The RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice through utilization of the Mother/Baby model.

Reports to: Director Women's Health

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education
Associate's degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

Required Skills
Certifications:
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required to be current upon hire.
NRP certification from approved American Heart Association training center required within 6 months of employment.
Nursery RN's are encouraged to obtain STABLE certification from approved American Heart Association training center.

Required Skills
Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure - Required

Minimum Work Experience
1 year Med/Surg, Women's Health and/or Nursery nursing experience - Preferred
