Summary:
Manages the planning, administering, and evaluating of the operations and care delivery of the Labor and Delivery department. Oversees professional practice, clinical outcomes, human resources management, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and refinement in response to needs and trends.

Education:
Essential:
* BSN or Bachelor of Science degree required.
* Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD, in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN, or MSN).

Experience:
Essential:
* Minimum five years of related experience including leadership in acute hospital Labor and Delivery.

Credentials:
Essential:
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
* AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.
* BLS, ACLS, NRP.
