Seasonal Program Runs: June 6th 2021 to September 11th 2021

Seasonal RN Rate: $57.00 per hour

* Work Schedule: PRN (must be flexible). All Seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. During the course of the 16 week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts. Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.

The NICU RN performs intensive care on infants within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act:

* To provide age appropriate, cluster care to premature infants through 2 years of age, in a minimal stimulation environment.
* To prioritize the infant's clinical and emotional needs utilizing the nursing process.
* To always intervene on the infant's behalf within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act.
* To be a productive member of the multidisciplinary team in helping set and reach patient care goals.

Qualifications

* Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
* Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last two years required
* NRP, BLS, and STABLE required
