Position Highlights

  • Work location: Texas Health Ft. Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
  • Work environment: Women's Services (GYN/Antepartum) 27-bed unit combining GYN, High Risk Antepartum, Breast surgery and Postpartum patients
  • Will work with GYN, post-surgical patients - variety of surgeries to include hysterectomies, breast surgeries; Postpartum (NICU moms), and Antepartum patients (all gestation levels)
  • Maternal Level IV designated facility!
  • Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts, 6:30PM – 7:00AM
  • Salary range: $27.50 - $52.88 per hour (based on relevant experience) + Great shift differentials
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (for eligible new hires with agreement)

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a 726-bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930. Hospital services include cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, and trauma/emergency medicine. Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
  • EKG (telemetry monitoring) and Fetal Monitoring (EFM) will be obtained as part of competencies
  • 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • More than 2 years Med/Surg, GYN or Antepartum or Labor & Delivery RN experience strongly preferred
